Job Description
GAC Group (Holdings) Ltd is looking for candidates for the role of Commercial CoOrdinator (Freight Services) to be based at the GAC Dubai World Central (DWC South) office. Could it be you?
The Group Commercial Coordinator role will involve working with own offices, partners and carriers to grow business. The successful candidate will be responsible for support to all stakeholders in their efforts to increase sales.
This role is ideally suited for candidates who are professionally outspoken with strong networking skills, good office presentability, pleasant personality and ability to work efficiently as part of a team work. The candidate should have a positive outlook and proficiency to work in a small and vibrant team.
Key responsibility
Compilation of tariffs / rates
Meeting with carriers and negotiating rates
Working on tenders with the team
Customer co-ordination
Customer visits with the team
Communication with internal departments and overseas offices
Collaboration and liaison with colleagues to always ensure business continuity
Job Requirements
Educational Qualification: University Degree or similar level education
Communication / Language: Confident, clear and concise/ Written and spoken at excellent level
Computer Aptitude: Excellent Excel, Word, PowerPoint required
Detailed Experience Levels: 1-2 years of Freight Forwarding / Shipping Line Experience
