Job Description:
Receiving export papers (invoice, customs certificate, transit certificate) from customers, customer service department, or land transport department. Making export/reissue data according to customer request. Preparing, and printing the papers required for customs inspection as and when required. Handing over the inspection papers in Dubai to the official of the inspection department of Dubai Customs to check the papers, and instruct the inspection officer for inspection. Pay the inspection fee. Follow up of the customs inspection representative in the arena to finish the inspection and receive the customs certificate from the customs representative sealed. Presenting the customs certificates to Khalid Port to be stamped with a confirmation seal for loading onto the ship. Submit customs certificates to Sharjah Customs for final stamping. Update the above data in the company’s system. Perform Import / Export – Customs / VAT Inspection in Jebel Ali, DWC, DNATA etc Any new work related, as assigned by the manager and management. Requirements: High school or any diploma. Should have UAE Light Vehicle Driving License. Good Communication Skills in English, and Arabic. Proven experience working as a Customs Clearance Executive in Shipping or Freight Forwarding Industry in the UAE.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Preference to be given to candidate holding min 2-3 years work experience within Liner Shipping, and Freight Forwarding Industry. Should have UAE Light Vehicle Driving License. Sound knowledge of Dubai Customs procedures. The ability to work well under pressure
