The role?

To act as proposal, lead on individual RFPs for Pipeline and Umbilical Pre-commissioning and contribute towards achieving booking plan of EnerMech’s MEC region.
To act as lead responsible person for planning, preparation, approvals, submission, and close-out of RFPs.
Prepare and Lead Tender kick off calls.
Prepare Technical and Commercial proposal Documents.
Write methodologies and execution plans.
Estimate cost, time, and resources for each RFP competitively.
Issue quote requests to third parties.
Technical and Commercial clarifications with Client.
Preparation of approval files, graphs, P&L sheets, cost break-down etc.
Liaise with internal stake holders and maintain clear visibility of the progress on each tender.
Deal with Operations, Procurement, Finance, Contracts, Legal, Tax, BD and other divisions for tender input in a timely manner.
Follow the tender approval matrix and ensure correct approvals are in place on a timely manner.
Demonstrate with evidence the cost efficiencies achieved through the estimation process.
Continue to manage the monthly reporting data.
Dealing with pre and post tender clarifications.
Ensure compliance with tender format.
Storyboard reviews through kick off and progress calls for individual tenders.
Bring in innovative solutions on complex pricing schedules.
Management of tender folders on the server.
Document controlling.
Tender acknowledgements / decline forms.
Any other tasks assigned by the E&P Manager to support the workload.
The ideal candidate will have.

Minimum Bachelor of Engineering Degree
Previous experience in a techno-commercial role in the field of pipelines and umbilical’s pre-commissioning.
Understanding of an onshore / offshore oil and gas market.
Experience of engineering and procedure writing
Previous experience of front-end customer engagement and complex solution offering.
Relevant site-based industry experience.
Previous experience in tendering / commercial role.
Knowledge of Africa, Middle East and Caspian Oil & Gas market.
Strong personal leadership.
Flexible attitude to working hours and shift patterns in order to get the job done.
Personal integrity that can be a role model for all other members of staff.
