A leading investment fund in the Gulf region is currently hiring for a Finance Officer to join their Dubai-based team.
About The Finance Officer Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for the accounting-related matters of the fund.
Key Responsibilities
Manage recordkeeping on cash and card, employee expenses claim, bank charges, and interest income on bank accounts.
Complete month-end closing tasks, including interest income and expenses accrual, bank charges, and interest income on bank accounts.
Ensure that internal controls are strong and effective and continually review and improve them.
Record vendor-related invoices and accruals in a timely manner and work with payment processing team to settle vendor invoices promptly.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
Accounting qualifications such as ACCA/CPA/CMA and equivalent is preferred
Knowledge of accounting principles including IFRS knowlege
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
