We are looking for a Financial Operations specialist to provide accurate and data-based information on the company and its competitors. You will research and analyse financial information to help the company make well-informed decisions, prepare reports, and monitor financial movements.

As our Financial Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for:

Performing financial reporting, forecasting and operational metrics tracking
Calculating or reconciling fees and other deductions charged to customers
Reconciling merchants’ and providers’ balances and ensuring the safeguarding of funds wherever required
Working closely with the Operations team for the movement and settlement of funds
Creating and maintaining pricing models and coordinating with the Sales team for any updates
Reporting on financial performance and preparing for regular leadership reviews
Analysing past results, performing variance analysis, identifying trends and making recommendations for improvements
Working with the Accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
Identifying and assisting in process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools and Excel dashboards
Increasing productivity by developing automated reporting and forecasting tools
Performing market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation

Have a Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or a Membership in a Professional Accounting body with strong analytical and data-gathering skills
Have 1–5 years of business finance or other relevant experience, preferably with a Financial Institution or within the Payments industry
Experience in managing FinOps for Merchants and segregated fund accounts
Are well-versed with Excel formulas and functions and are familiar with data query and data management tools (Access, SQL, Business Objects)
Have strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills
Are comfortable dealing with ambiguity and can work independently
Are comfortable interacting with executive-level management
