About the job
The HR Specialist is responsible for all HR operations throughout the employee life cycle, ensuring our HR procedures run smoothly at all times, creating a positive employee experience and supporting employee engagement and satisfaction. This includes preparing payroll, compensation,
and benefit packages, updating and implementing company policies, conducting regular employee feedback and performance reviews, and maintaining updated employee records.
Run day-to-day HR operations and maintain employee relationships.
Address employee questions, concerns, and suggestions, collect and consolidate them in HR improvement projects.
Ensure that all employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating are processed, maintained, and updated.
Explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees.
Assist in developing and implement HR policies, processes & tools throughout the organization.
Assist in performance management procedures, employee surveys, etc.
Support ad-hoc HR projects, like insurance renewals, wellness campaigns, employee surveys, and employee engagement programs.
Support, prepare and process payroll (when required).
Prepare and review compensation and benefits packages.
Creation of and interpretation of reports and graphics, support HR Analytics.
Provide support in the hiring process and onboarding administration, which may include conducting HR interviews, reviewing resumes, offer. letters and references, and increase employee engagement.
Coordinate the exit process for departing employees.
Support in other functions as assigned.
Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management, or a similar degree.
Pursuing professional membership with CIPD, SHRM, CPHR is preferred.
Experience with HR systems.
Good understanding of end-to-end HR operations cycle; from recruiting to offboarding.
Solid knowledge of labour legislations.
Good understanding of payroll procedures.
Ability to handle sensitive situations and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Strong critical thinking, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills.
Good organizational and time management skills, attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
