Areebajobs is recruiting for a Client operating in the Africa and the Middle east an ICT specialist that will:

Ensure the provision of an effective and appropriate ICT service
Handle business-critical IT tasks and system improvements
Enable faster and smarter business processes and employee productivity
Monitor and apply company policies relating to ICT, and Cyber Security.

Provide software and system troubleshooting and update operating systems and user applications.
Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
Prioritize, diagnose and resolve day-to-day problems relating to computer equipment and software promptly
Configure and maintain applications and user devices. Provide timely and quality service delivery, technical support, and advice to user requests
Monitor the performance of hardware and communications infrastructure and escalate incidents as necessary.
Deploy, configure, and maintain ICT systems, including networks, and servers. Troubleshoot and address issues to ensure optimal performance
Plan for technology upgrades, expansion and replacements by overseeing their systematic needs assessment, specification
Maintain inventory of ICT equipment, hardware, and software and ensure adequate supply and functionality. Provide input to budget for ICT-related expenses
Support the procurement process for IT equipment and services
Ensure proper service request monitoring and incident management
HSE Requirements

Comply with requirements of Safety, Health and Environmental laws of the Country and to obey the corporate policy of the Company on Safety, Health and Environment, and to practice Company’s Safety System. Provide safe and healthy conditions of work to subordinate personnel and control over compliance by this personnel at safe and labor protection rules and regulations.


Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent;
5 years of relevant working experience
Required knowledge, technical or professional skills

Technical knowledge of operating systems which include Windows 10/11 and Windows Server operating systems
Significant working knowledge of a range of ICT software, hardware and other resources including servers, routers and switches.
Thorough understanding of networks, LAN, WLAN, VPN and Internet topologies, protocols and techniques
Proven technical background in maintaining desktop computers, printers and peripherals.
Ability to work independently to troubleshoot, Experience managing IT infrastructure technologies,
Perform root cause analysis, identify and isolate technical issues,
Required personal capabilities
