ROLE:
Within the Intermodal Department, you are in charge of coordinating and developing the intermodal activity in your area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the ILS Manager, you animate the network of agencies / ILS. As such, you participate in the definition of the objectives of the year for TEUs and Carrier Haulage and ensure compliance with these objectives. You control margins and their evolution, by implementing corrective actions if necessary. You participate in the development of specific plans for the countries in their development phase: support for the establishment of the local organization, the definition of the intermodal product, setting goals, coaching, and performance monitoring, … You are in charge of the management of a client portfolio in collaboration with Key Accounts and Lines at HO and RO. In this context, you communicate continuously, set a specific offer, and check the margins. As an animator for your area, you communicate with different interlocutors in Head Office and agencies Carrier Haulage performance as well as news of the area: country performance point on the corridors, changing rates, … Finally, in collaboration with the Procurement team, you follow the indicators for the main providers in terms of revenues, volumes and purchase price.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :
Graduated with a Masters in Commerce or management, you have gained a first experience in the logistics, intermodal and / or transportation field. You are fluent in English and are used to working in an international environment. You have a good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, IT tools, and if possible Qlikview. You also have a good knowledge of CMA CGM tools (LARA, OCEAN, GAIA etc..). Your interpersonal skills, good communication skills and qualities of self-reliance, organization and coordination are key assets to carry out the tasks of this position.
