Job Purpose

As a Laboratory Analyst, you will be responsible for providing analytical sample processing and data review to support S

O
SSM Services initiatives. The successful incumbent will use a variety of analytical techniques and wet chemistry to process oil, fuel, source water and/or coolant samples submitted by customers. Engineers and dealers use results to manage equipment preventive maintenance schedules.

What You Will Do

Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment.
Conduct laboratory evaluation of samples (oil, fuel, coolant/source water).
Operate and implement analytical lab instrumentation.
Properly maintain laboratory instruments and dealing with malfunctions thru basic troubleshooting.
Maintain and manage accurate and precise documentation.
Review data on computer following standard operating methods.
Update and calibrate lab analysis instrumentation.
Conduct regular updating of records and develop reports.
Support LEAN Six Sigma Initiatives to improve process and products.

Minimum Requirements

4 -year degree in chemistry or related field (biology, biochemistry, chemical engineering, etc.)
4 years direct lab experience. Oil Laboratory experience is a plus.
