Job Description For Quality Assurance Lead
Contract
Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead QA Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the QA team in ensuring the quality of our software products by designing and implementing tests, developing test plans and test cases, and executing them to identify any defects or bugs. As a Lead QA Engineer, you will work closely with our development and product teams to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of QA engineers to ensure the quality of our hardware with software products to cover all business cases requirement.
Design and develop test plans and test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
Execute test cases and document defects, bugs and issues found during testing.
Work closely with the development team (hardware or software) to reproduce and debug defects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality of our software products.
Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
Participate in the development of tests using test automation frameworks.
Provide feedback on the quality of the product and its user experience.
Act as a point of contact for all quality-related matters and escalate issues as necessary.
Define and implement metrics to measure the quality of our software products.
Prepare and present reports on the quality of our software products to management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
At least 6 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience with manual and automated testing techniques.
Experience in test automation frameworks, scripting languages (Python, Ruby, etc.).
Ability to write and execute SQL queries to verify data.
Experience in Agile methodologies.
Experience in JIRA is a must.
Experience with automated and performance testing tool (e.g., JMeter, Load Runner)
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Previous experience leading a team of QA engineers.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with web and mobile testing.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
Knowledge of security testing and performance testing.
ISTQB Certification.
