This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to play a key role in shaping and overseeing the legal aspects of our business operations.

Position Overview: As a Legal and Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic legal guidance and managing the legal affairs of the organization. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Chairman to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, mitigate legal risks, and support the achievement of business objectives. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional with strong legal acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Legal Compliance:
Stay abreast of relevant laws and regulations affecting the companys operations.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
Conduct regular audits to assess and address compliance issues.
Contract Management:
Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including but not limited to, vendor agreements, customer contracts, and partnership agreements.
Ensure that contracts align with company policies and objectives.
Provide guidance to internal teams on contractual matters.
Litigation Management:
Manage and oversee any legal disputes, including litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
Work closely with external legal counsel when necessary.
Develop and implement strategies to minimize legal risks and resolve disputes efficiently.
Intellectual Property:
Safeguard the companys intellectual property rights.
Conduct intellectual property searches and assessments.
Manage trademark registrations and other intellectual property-related matters.
Regulatory Affairs:
Interact with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations.
Advise on regulatory implications of business initiatives.
Assist in obtaining necessary permits and licenses.
Training and Awareness:
Conduct legal training sessions for employees to enhance awareness and understanding of legal issues.
Develop and update training materials to reflect changes in laws and regulations.
Policy Development:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and update company policies.
Ensure that policies align with legal requirements and industry best practices.
Risk Management:
Identify and assess legal risks associated with business activities.
Develop risk mitigation strategies and processes.


Law Degree from an accredited law school.
10-15 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on real estate, property and infrastructure development.
Proven experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and management.
Strong understanding of intellectual property law, regulatory compliance, and litigation management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
