Job Title Manager, Measurement & Optimization Marketing, Data & Services As Marketing Services (MS), the marketing strategy & execution arm of Mastercard, we aim to focus on differentiated scalable and digital offerings that leverages our unique data and marketing technology to accelerate campaign performance and associated outcomes. Our vision is to become the partner of choice for Issuers and Merchants leveraging our digital data-driven marketing performance products to drive our clients most profitable customer engagements and ultimately Mastercard preference with consumers. Through the transformation of the youngest and fastest growing MS region, EEMEA is seeking an experienced Measurement & Optimization Manager. The candidates superior understanding of the dynamics behind successful campaigns, fueled by data insights and optimization strategies/tactics will deliver positive ROI for clients and create their reliance on MS. We are specifically looking for a candidate with experience in insights, campaign analytics and optimization who can explore new opportunities by using data, enhance campaign outcome and drive cross campaign learnings. Role & Responsibilities
Grow the Marketing Services Revenue by supporting to design and implement efficient and scalable marketing solutions. These solutions include B2B2C product packages where we bring together different D&S solutions to support banks with end to end execution of spend campaigns to drive portfolio growth.
Support defining and deploying the go-to-market strategy for Spend Optimization initiatives. Spend Optimization initiatives would cover a wide range of campaigns like activation, reactivation, retention, e-commerce, cross border, merchant partnerships
Support EEMEA MS Spend Optimization P&L management tracking and acting over the business important KPIs, such as Revenue, Margin and Expenses.
Support EEMEA MS Spend Optimization product strategy thinking, planning, resourcing, budgeting and rollout for campaigns/projects, as well as indirect oversight of their end to end delivery.
Optimize the measurement and performance management process of campaigns, optimize internal processes, standardize tracking, initiate improvements affecting the overall impact and efficiency.
Track optimization KPIs per issuer and decide on actions to improve overall portfolio performance
Solve analytical problems and execute solutions when evaluating campaign results and driving cross campaign learnings, diving into data points regarding bank & merchant business performance to find the areas of development to get the maximum value out of card portfolios.
Structure analysis in an effective way and understand client business model
Improve reporting and data visibility for faster and more effective decision-making, keeping up with the dynamic and fast nature of campaigns.
Assess current marketing execution/measurement capabilities vs. best-in-class industry solutions to identify opportunities for Mastercard to drive further differentiation at scale, evaluating current targeting capabilities, supporting assessments for bundling existing internal offerings, identifying partnerships to enable activation of emerging client segments, etc.
Leverage, interpret and analyze data and insights to plan and implement marketing initiatives with the objective of providing best customer lifecycle management.
Strategize, ideate, plan and execute campaign strategies and campaigns as well as tracking and measuring results.
Drive growth of Spend Optimization campaigns in the region by working in full coordination with internal & external stakeholders to achieve region wide optimization KPIs.
Develop business cases for new spend optimization product suite to improve ROI for clients.
Experience
5+ years business experience, particularly in a bank working for cards portfolio management
Payment industry experience/understanding of payment and information flows along value chain is a must.
Strong knowledge of developing business cases and managing the P&L at the project and market level.
Well versed with the payments market. This includes on and offline channels, so he/she can work with Mastercard and stakeholders to implement highly successful ATL and BTL marketing campaigns.
Extensive experience working in end to end execution of campaigns.
Expert in digital and offline marketing strategies and programs and these include understanding analytics and data, design and implement roadmaps and programs with the most impactful results.
Consulting background is a plus.
Business proficiency in Arabic or French is preferred.
