Purpose of the job:
Serve as the bridge between business units and the People Team. Align resources within the People Team to better serve business needs. Oversee end-to-end processes to ensure smooth execution. Engage with employees, resolve issues, and serve as a credible source of information.
Consult with business units on goal setting and modification
Serve as liaison between business units and People Team resources to ensure on-time completion of annual performance evaluation process.
Consult with business units on appropriate use of Performance Improvement Plans for under-performing employees.
Recruitment and Onboarding:
Coordinate between Talent Acquisition resources and business units on the completion of the vacancy requisition process
Attend interviews, along with hiring managers, provide feedback to Talent Acquisition
Coordinate between hiring managers and Talent Acquisition on the candidate selection process
Serve as point of contact for selected candidates in terms of visa processing, required documents, date of joining, onboarding schedule, etc.
Coordinate with internal resources to create and execute an effective onboarding schedule for new joiners.
Provide policy, process, and practice clarifications to employees; educate employees when changes occur
Collect employee feedback, both formally and informally, and escalate if required
Plan and execute employee engagement activities, in conjunction with people managers within business units
Organize and facilitate employee social groups, clubs, and events
Internally advertize employee recognition programs

University or College graduate
Prior experience as an HRBP or generalist
Basic knowledge in UAE Labour laws
Arabic is a plus
