This brand-new role is an incredibly exciting opportunity to be part of some of the best beach action in Qatar, with responsibility for marketing Discover Qatar’s beach venues – B12 Beach Club Doha, The Bistro by B12, Doha Sands and Fuwairit Kite Beach Resort.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing and implementing the full range of communication activities associated with the marketing strategy of the Beach venues, to increase brand awareness, footfall and delivering commercial success.

Key responsibilities are:

– Define the communication strategy for DQ Beach Products, currently B12 Beach Club Doha, The Bistro by B12, Doha Sands and Fuwairit Kite Beach Resort, ensuring the utilization of the most appropriate media to communicate with the most appropriate audience
– Responsible for all campaign media including events calendar, website content, social media content, customer communications, PR, presentations (internal and external), and brochures, either directly or working with partners in DQ and QR.
– Ensure the delivery of branded beach marketing assets including menu’s, artwork, vouchers, signage, and various other branded and promotional assets
– Ensuring that all communications are optimized to target the identified audience and ensure traffic by selecting the best mix of communication channels, placement and timing to ensure that key messages are accurately and consistently expressed in the relevant media.
– Responsible for creation and development of communication content for advertising and developing DQ website content, print advertisements, commercial scripts and digital material to expose DQ’s Beach products and offerings to target audience.

– Responsible for upholding the individual Beach brands across various channels and quality assurance of content produced by proofreading and checking content for accuracy and clarity, ensuring compliance to the prescribed brand communications guidelines.
– Work with colleagues in DQ, QRH GCC and QRH ROW to ensure the Beach Asset products are promoted accurately and with the appropriate frequency through the QRH marketing channels.
– Identify opportunities working with QT to promote DQ Beach products and services
– Analyze new marketing trends and provide reports to identify market opportunities and ensure maximum utilization of different ways that promotes DQ Beaches products and services.
– Coordinate the design and distribution of DQ Beaches promotional material in online and offline channels and work with team members and the business to develop, update, and implement communication and promotion guidelines for all DQ Beaches offerings based on research, industry standards and trends.
– Writing project briefs to external vendors such as advertising agencies, photographers and video production companies to ensure successful collaboration and partnership wih external stakeholders.

– Participates with line manager in organizing marketing events, tradeshow assets, and customers event and participates in organizing internal events such as annual conferences and senior management meetings.
– Ensure all internal processes are followed in the procurement of assets
– Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications

About You

– Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with minimum 4 years of job-related experience
– A background in product or event marketing ideally in the Travel and Leisure sector
– Good Communication skills
– Experience managing a CRM platform and segmentation of customers
– Strong background in both digital and traditional marketing channels
– Managing the creation of video assets
– Good understanding of all online marketing channels and techniques
