KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop/Update, implement and maintain BIM Workflow, protocols and standards within the MEP Engineering Team
Liase and coordinate with BIM Specialists / BIM Technicians / BIM Lead
Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs using NavisWorks
Manage Audit and review models in Autodesk Revit
Ensure compliance to the appropriate company CAD/BIM standards and protocol
Hold weekly coordination meetings with project team members
Early design review and constructability analysis
Manage / Update BIM Project Documents
3D Model Quantity Extraction / Verification
4D Scheduling / Simulation using Autodesk NavisWorks
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
Must hold previous experience as MEP BIM Coordinator
Must have minimum 8-10 years of experience in MEP works
Expert skills in Revit software, Naviswork, and AutoCAD
3D modeling and graphic imaging software (Autodesk, 3D Slash, Cinema 4D, Adobe, Corel, etc.)
Computer-aided design software (Microsoft Visio, Visual Architect, TurboCAD, etc.)
Office software (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Must have good experience in MEP works preferably from a design consultancy firm in GCC
