The Role
We have an exciting role available for an Office Manager (MENA) to join our team at Clyde & Co. The purpose of the role is to oversee and manage the maintenance, repairs, upkeep and security of our offices in the Middle East, ensuring that it is kept clean, safe and meet the needs of the business. This includes managing facilities and administration staff and budgets, project managing office moves and fit-out projects, coordinating and overseeing relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and overseeing security and safety systems. Additionally, the Facilities manager is responsible for leading, managing, and developing the facilities team, working with stakeholders, and implementing energy management plans to reduce consumption and cost.
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities listed for the Office Manager role include:
Overseeing the management of premises and office equipment, including repairs, maintenance, and pest control
Leading, managing and motivating a team that handles facilities, messenger, administration, reprographics and reception services
Ensuring the security of the staff and offices
Managing the facilities budget, overseeing Health & Safety in the workplace and addressing environmental and CSR issues
Leading projects for office moves, fit-out and refurbishment in the Middle East
Project managing tasks, including space planning, arranging resources and equipment, and keeping to deadlines
Managing vendors and service providers, including contract negotiation and invoice review
Managing office and car park space, including monitoring usage and analysing data
Overseeing the supply of office consumables
Managing deliveries and post
Communicating changes in office procedures and writing and implementing policies
Serving as an escalation point for regional offices in the Middle East
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
At least 3-5 years of experience as a Office Manager, with a preference for Middle East experience
Fluency in English, both verbal and written
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Experience in leading, managing, and developing teams
Eligible to work in the UAE: UAE nationals and international candidates are welcomed
