Job Scope
The Planning Executive is accountable for enabling sales through the development and alignment of the operational plan with the sales strategy driving optimization and improving systems and tools in place. S/He regularly coordinates with internal stakeholders to develop forecast models associated with customers and products while incorporating market and internal data to predict demands and optimize the flow of inventory.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
Identify and analyze market and internal related data and assumptions predicting future sales trends and developing product demands;
Create forecast models, set sales and supply plans to all operational countries in the Middle East;
Identify business opportunities and risks, market trends and propose initiatives;
Partner and follow up with sales, marketing, logistics and finance departments to facilitate a collaborative planning process landing strategic plans and daily operations effectively;
Align sales and operational strategies with internal stakeholders to f acilitate monthly demand forecast aggregation, including consensus between functions and stakeholders;
Work closely with partners to understand their needs and plans and ensure satisfaction;
Control and manage supply and inventory at all levels;
Optimize operational processes, on a regular basis, to guarantee consistent business flow;
Manage sales pipeline for near or long-term opportunities;
Review and evaluate forecast results, inventory and sales performance and report periodic metrics to concerned;
Manage partner orders including flag missing, excess and aging orders;
Update customers and internal stakeholders on order backlogs and information;
Work with logistics, sales and credit teams to ensure order fulfillment in a timely manner;
Develop and manage CRM systems, tools, and processes to increase effectiveness.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, supply chain or any other related field
Demand planning softwares, excel skills, BI experience
At least 2-3 years of experience in electronics industry
