As a Production Manager for Interior Design Projects, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of projects from conception to completion. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that designs are brought to life with precision, quality, and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Scheduling:
Collaborate with the design team to translate concepts into detailed project plans.
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed on time.
Resource Allocation and Management:
Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and furnishings.
Allocate and manage manpower effectively to meet project deadlines.
Quality Assurance:
Implement and monitor quality control processes to uphold the firms standards of excellence.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship meets design specifications.
Budget Management:
Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and report on budget variances.
Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
Client Communication:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the production phase.
Provide regular updates on project progress and address any client concerns or requests.
Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate a team of skilled craftsmen and subcontractors.
Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team performs at its best.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
Proactively address issues that may impact project timelines or quality.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Generate regular reports for internal stakeholders and clients.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure that all work adheres to safety regulations and industry standards.
Implement and enforce safety protocols on project sites.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in civil/architecture or similar field.
5-6 yrs. of experience in project management within the interior design industry.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, etc.).
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Requirements
