Job Description Summary As related customer equipment, faciliaties or infrastructure projects: responsible for project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.

The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.). Job Description

Roles And Responsibilities

Lead Portfolio of Projects including Turnkey, Products, Service, Systems projects. (CCS, DCS, M&D, CIC, APM) in Qatar.
Direct all project delivery resources to define, plan, and implement the contractual project delivery activities of the Project in accordance with the BU guidelines and policies, with the objective of achieving the Project’s turnover, operating income, Sales, Billing and cash targets.
Ensure on time delivery of GA projects within GA framework and GE company value /Ethics charter
Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency, customer satisfaction and quality of work
Maintain comprehensive documents & records of projects executed.
Manage resource planning and workload of the team to ensure 90% and above billable ratio
Ensure commitments to customer are met in accordance with contract with clear feedback through consistent customer interaction, e.g. communication, (phone, e-mail, etc.) and customer meetings, periodic reviews etc.
Prepare reports using internal tools such as MPR, T@IS etc.
Compliance / improvement of the Company’s Quality & EHS policy.
Coordinate workplace EHS issues and ensure ethics & safe works for T&C personnel, both internal and subcontracted.

Required Qualifications

Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
PMP Certification is a must.
Advanced experience (10 Years) in the Project Management.
Grid Automation business knowledge is a must.
Knowledge of schemes and application of protection relays in electrical networks including HV & EHV systems, and state-of-the-art technologies in substation automation.
Experience in reading / interpreting tender / contract documentation, schematics, procedures and policy guidelines.
Good oral / written /read communication in English and Arabic speaking is an advantage.
Have a working knowledge of commercial, contractual conditions, ideally in electrical power system or associate industries.
Experience of managing projects for protection and control systems is a distinct advantage
