Job Summary.
Provide clients with professional Quotations / Bids which are technically compliant and commercially competitive and to work as part of a team to ensure on time bid submission. Provide technical support to both sales teams and territorial customers on Artificial Lift applications as required.
Responsibilities
Responsible for creation of techno/commercial proposals for the NOV Artificial lift product line inclusive of Progressive cavity and Rod Lift / Hydraulic Pump Unit product lines.
Responsible for applications engineering and system design through the use of Design Software for Progressive Cavity Pump systems (PCP) and Sucker Rod Pump systems (SRP-HPU). Software to be used will include but not limited to CFER and S-ROD.
The role will be responsible for the preparation of bids and for co-ordinating input and responses to RFQs with manufacturing, engineering, applications and sales disciplines for NOV Artificial Lift products. With a focus on Sucker Rod Pump (SRP-HPU) systems and accessories and Progressive Cavity Pump Systems (PCP) and accessories.
Provision of Technical Support on the operation, installation and troubleshooting of Artificial Lift Systems (SRP-HPU and PCP) and accessories to the Sales and Operations team and the end user as required both prior to sale and during the operation of the equipment.
Within the proposals process, capture and develop opportunities with other team members to widen the scope of supply and the integration of multiple products and service offerings.
Ensure all the bids are handled in accordance with client requirements
Create and compile cost estimates presented to the respective area manager for the scope of work (PCP and SRP-HPU Systems, etc
) to a level and accuracy required to support the specific bid.
Assist evaluating bids and acknowledge/decline as per company philosophy/strategy. Declining bids requires agreement of the Technical Support Manager, Sales Manager or a member of Senior Management.
Provide pre and after sales technical support to NOV sales teams and clients on Artificial lift equipment.
Control the RFQ to Order process including:
Coordination of ITT requirements with other disciplines (including ensuring bids are provided in accordance with clients specifications and meets technical compliance).
Set deadlines to achieve submission dates and plan and organise workload to ensure that all deadlines are achieved.
Assist and provide input in the development of business systems and improvement in working practices and processes.
When requested, attend Bid Clarification Meetings with Client(s) and respond with revised tender or clarifications as requested by Client(s)
Review clients POs and process the handover of orders with the relevant project execution team.
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the work area and department.
Ensure personal compliance with all HSE legislation and the Company HSE policy.
Maintain full compliance with department and company policies, procedures and processes, ensuring all work and actions conducted are agreement with the standards of the company.
Support other departments and carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by the line manager.

Experience/Education/Skill-set Required
Essential:
Engineering Degree
Specific courses/training with regards to Artificial Lift products with a focus of PCP and SRP-HPU-HPU product lines
5+ Years of experience with the design, installation and troubleshooting of Artificial lift equipment with Particular focus on Progressive Cavity Pump Systems (PCPs) and Sucker rod Pump Systems (SRP-HPUs).
Extensive Experience with the use of Artificial Lift Design software packages (CFER, S-ROD, etc).
Experience with providing customers technical support for Artificial lift systems.
Experience with preparing proposals for Artificial lift systems Particularly PCP and Rod Lift systems.
Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Excel and Word)

Desirable
Field experience installing both Rod lift and PCP systems.
