Key Responsibilities of the Receptionist:
Responds to guest requests for information about the hotel and its surroundings.
Arranges for special services requested by the guests.
Stays current with developments in the hotel by reviewing Service Managers E-log each shift and checking Information board.
Arranges fulfilment of guest services by working with Bell staff, Housekeeping, Reservations and F&D.
Allocates rooms and issues appropriate keys.
Requirements of the Receptionist:
Experience in front office beneficial
Hands-on approach with a can-do work style
Ability to find creative solutions taking ownership for duties and tasks assigned
Strong communication skills
