Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Regional Marketing is looking for a Customer Marketing Specialist to join their team in Dubai, UAE. This role will independently work with Airline/Leasing Executives to assess needs and create potential product and service solutions.

Position Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):

Develops and executes a comprehensive marketing strategy based on Customer needs to capture high value business for Boeing through the Selling process.
Develops and executes marketing campaigns for fleet growth and replacement decisions with airlines.
Establishes consultative relationships with key decision makers and influencers to determine customer needs and for long-term interaction on Boeing offers and proposals.
Helps lead cross-functional technical and marketing teams to develop and present customer solutions.
Partners with teammates to lead and participate in the development of account and market strategies.
Conducts evaluation of the fit and value of the Boeing solutions versus competitive solutions for presentation and discussion with airlines, leasing companies and other stakeholders.
Helps direct the creation of high-quality, persuasive sales materials that build preference for Boeing products and services with customers.
Interacts with product development process by communicating and evaluating requirements for product changes and new products.

Maintain deep customer relationships and knowledge

Build and maintain relationships with airline executives, government officials, aviation constituents and Boeing Program leaders and executives and be the primary interface for all marketing activities.
Responsible for knowing the customer’s business strategies and plans, their operating environment, their fleet plans and their ability to buy airplanes and services.
Understand the airplane selection process and interacting with evaluators and key decision makers with analysis and presentations is vital in differentiating offers and building preference.

Develop opportunities and implement marketing strategies and plans

Analyze growth trends to identify potential airplane sales to customers in key markets.
Develop and implement strategies to shape customer perceptions during all phases of the relationship utilizing breadth and depth of company knowledge and resources.
Work with the Business Units, Sales, Business Strategy, Communications, Engineering and Finance to facilitate development and implementation of marketing strategies and plans for Boeing products and services.
RM directly impacts Share Holder Value by ensuring that strategies for revenue generation are coordinated and are aligned with the BCA Business Plan.

Create preference for Boeing products and services

Coordinate the activities of the extended Marketing / Engineering support team.
Work with Sales and Product Marketing to decide which products and services will best respond to the airline requirements and create presentations to position the initial offering to the airline, customizing by using airline insight and understanding airline values.
Understand our customer’s needs and demonstrate the value of Boeing products on specific routes in their network.

Demonstrate product fit and value to the customer

Works closely with the airline and Sales to demonstrate how our products fit into a customer network and fleet (using performance, revenue, cost, fleet, route, traffic and financial analysis).
Demonstrates and quantifies how Boeing airplanes and services create value using the airline’s criteria for evaluating investments with customer specific assumptions and ground rules.
Develops tailored Marketing presentations to persuasively communicate this value while assessing competitors’ products, quantifying and demonstrating the competitive advantages of our products and features to the customer.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

10+ years’ experience with technical airplane capabilities, airline networks, and financial modeling.
10+ years’ experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership.
Proven Track Record as a successful customer facing professional in the civil aviation industry
Competent in Microsoft Office
Ability and willingness to travel extensively on short notice.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

Prior commercial aviation industry experience including airline or lessor.
Language capabilities beyond English desired
Experience in a team environment.
Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience.
Fluency in French

Typical Education & Experience

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years’ related work experience, Master+7 years’ related work experience, 13 years’ related work experience, etc.).

This requisition is for an international, locally hired position in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S.-based payroll and will commensurate with experience and qualifications and in accordance with applicable UAE law.
