What You Will Do

The Sales Executive – Controls & Security is a key role reporting directly to Service Branch Manager – C&S in Qatar. Under specific direction is responsible for the sale of Johnson Controls Controls & Security service offerings to owners, primarily at the Director level. Promote the Johnson Controls value proposition to building owners by providing technical solutions and operational expertise. Builds and manages long term customer relationships/partnerships with target and managed accounts. Responsible for customer satisfaction. Positions renewable service agreements as the foundation of managed account relationships. Executes the sales process to cultivate and manage long-term relationships and seeking out, qualifying and closing new sales opportunities. Obtain and close sales on a monthly basis. Seeks to expand the depth and breadth of Johnson Controls offerings within an account.

How You Will Do It

With direction from the supervising manager, sells the Johnson Controls offerings persuasively, persistently and confidently to building owners at the D-level while reaching optimal profit levels.
Focuses on improving the existing building to allow the building owner to achieve business objectives.
Manages ongoing, opportunities particularly focusing on selling services, retrofits and parts.
Sells, renews and expands renewable service agreements, including multi-year agreements, to both new and existing customers.
Builds and manages partnering relationships with the owner or owner representatives responsible for the decision-making process to drive the sale of Johnson Controls service offerings.
Actively listens, probes and identifies concerns.
Understands the customer’s business and speaks their language.
Utilize sales tools to plan and document sales progress as well as increase business opportunities in assigned accounts.
Develops relationships with internal operations and administrative staff to ensure customer satisfaction, and effectively and efficiently address customer queries.
Keeps management informed of progress and account status. Leverages management with accounts, when and where appropriate.
Be responsible for achieving assigned Annual Sales Quota.
Works with the credit teams to manage receivables balances in line with Johnson Controls objectives and policies.
Leads the sales process by building and fostering team relationships to ensure customer satisfaction. Solicits support from and communicates effectively with internal staff. Develops relationship with other EMEALA organizations to exceed customers’ expectations. Owns and facilitates the customer relationship.


What we look for:

Bachelors of Mechanical/ Electrical / Electronics Engineering degree or equivalent
Minimum of six (6) years of progressive field sales experience.
One (1) year successfully selling Controls & Security service or projects.
Demonstrates a commitment to integrity and quality in business
Self-driven and motivated to meet annual performance goals.
Excellent initiative and interpersonal communications skills.
Demonstrated ability to influence the market at key levels.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English. Arabic is a plus.
Valid Qatar Driving License


Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related discipline required.
Ten (10) years of successfully selling Controls & Security service or projects.
A network of business contacts within the market.
