Role Profile:
* Starbucks Alshaya operates over 1700 Stores in the Middle east and turkey with 25 years of history and an demonstrable commitment to grow and contributes to the local markets development. There is a need, and an opportunity, to elevate the conversation with external stakeholder such as local authorities and media through a proper PA role.

Therefore, were looking to bring on board a dedicated specialized resource, passionate about our brand as much as about the CSR and sustainability, capable to design a powerful media engagement strategy around sustainability, CSR and employer branding, seamless waived into the broader brand story telling in the region.

The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to:

* The Sr PA and Brand CSR manager for the Starbucks division across Mena and TR regions, will be to lead the PA agenda and its execution: will actively promote the growth agenda of the brand, through store openings, introduction of new technology, innovation, investments, and service models. Serving as spokesperson for regional and local market needs this person will be responsible for maintain as well as establishing relationships with media and third-party stakeholders on behalf of Starbucks-Alshaya. This person will also act as the primary point of contact for any reputational issues, leading a comprehensive crisis communications strategy that can span geographies and languages in line with the Starbucks-Alshaya footprint in the MENA, TR regions.

* The role will also look after the outward expression of the employer branding strategy.

* As well, Sr PA and Brand CSR manager contributes to shape the CSR and sustainability strategy and execution framework, interpreting locally the host brand strategy and tools.

Roles & Area of Responsibilities
* Help drive the corporate communication strategy and plan development for the MENA and TR region based on the regional business strategy that deliver a growth message and contribute to establish coffee authority in the region. Drive execution for both regions.
* Promote reputation and business through support of regional narrative; corporate media strategy and relations; executive engagement strategy and spokesperson development. Leverage resources across the region and work with the in-house and agency teams to evolve our communications programme to support effective storytelling across the region
* Protect Starbucks reputation with customers, media, stakeholders and partners by overseeing Starbucks reactive media relations and supporting the corporate affairs vice president on issues management with key markets and licensees
* Develop and drive strategy for executive communications both internally and with media/external stakeholders; develop positioning plans and dedicated narrative for the division leadership team.
* Serve as spokesperson as needed for regional and local market needs and create relationships with media stakeholders engagement for Starbucks.
* Lead cross functionally to deliver a long-term Sustainability strategy, viable and compelling for each region, engages Division leadership team for inputs, support and approval. Operates in collaboration with the EMEA Starbucks sustainability director and the Alshaya Head of sustainability and the input of the regional leadership teams.
* Similarly, leads cross functionally to deliver a long-term CSR strategy for Tr and MENA that embraces and eventually expand the current MENA CSR program.
* Engages the regional management to turn the strategy into a measurable yearly action plan, to mobilize relevant regional resources and execute the agreed agenda.
Serve as a comms liaison for the following cross function teams:

? Operations- MENA & TR
? Partner Resources, MENA TR
? Global communications
? Alshaya PA
? Alshaya sustainability
? Division LT

In the space of employer branding, the Sr PA role will;

* Devise and deliver an effective employer branding strategy to bring to life our EMEA Starbucks EVP externally across all recruitment channels.
* Work with Corporate Communications and Group Talent Acquisition to ensure brand messaging remains in line with the Groups guiding principles.
* Review external social media and employer branding trends in the GCC to ensure our national recruitment strategies attract the highest caliber national candidates.

* Proven Expertise in brand strategy, leading brand communication for a global brand and PA sizeable experience in the MENA region for a global or regional brand.
* Arabic & English speaker.
* Demonstrable expertise in driving the CSR/sustainability agenda with measurable impacts, for large organisations ideally.

12 years or more of experience are required, out of which 3-5 years experience in PR agency management would be ideal.

* Strong skills in strategic planning, analysis and project management. Highly skilled in insight-led strategy and big idea development to deliver brand communications aimed at shifting perceptions.
* Highly skilled in stakeholder management, can engage senior business leaders with effective presentation and communication skills.
* Skilled in multi-channel communication management, with considerable experience in digital communications and media partnerships and content production
