The Role
You Will Be Responsible For
Fixing in new long-term period vessels
Develop and maintain relationships with vessel owners and brokers
Responsible for fleet allocation, freight trading & contract coverage
Periodic analyses of fleet earnings and market developments
Managing the Derivatives planning and execution
Negotiate and execute deals with brokers and counterparties
Production of FFAs, bunker swap monthly settlements, and Month-End P&L
Circulate market updates, analysis, and insights to the management and the commercial teams
Ideal Profile
Bachelors degree with excellent communications and inter-personal skill
Good network and contacts with key decision makers
Proven track record in Dry Bulk chartering and Derivatives trading
Able to work in fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient and with a high level of professionalism and integrity
