Our client, a reputed freight forwarding company that specializes in International Sea & air shipping, Customs brokerage, and logistics is currently looking for a Senior Sales Coordinator to be based in Dubai.
In This Role, You Will Have The Following Responsibilities
Handle customer complaints and cargo claims
Develop customer relationships with existing customers
Handle ad-hoc customer enquiries on sales/rate quotation and operational issues
Liaise with customers and overseas offices/ JV on shipping activities and documentation
Handle full set of shipping documents (PSA/ Customs/ Tradenet/ Portnet)
Ensure proper cut-off procedures at month-end closing
Handle day-to-day operations and transactions in the forwarding area
Data entries
Send pre-alerts and shipping advice to customers and DGF overseas offices
Ensure timely dispatch of shipping documents to customers and DGF overseas offices
Prepare cash and credit invoices
Process shipment data
Handle general enquiries regarding shipments, vessels ETA and charges
Send shipment arrival notification letters to consignee and issue delivery orders
Tradenet/ customs documentation
Liaise with relevant departments upon cargo irregularity reported
Requirements
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
5+ years in Freight Forwarding Sales in the UAE with existing client base and business.
Deep knowledge of the shipping & freight forwarding industry.
Aggressive and optimistic attitude.
Excellent Linguistics and presentation skills
