Overview Of The Role
Ensure customers satisfaction & drive a standard IKEA shopping method that helps safeguard the IKEA mechanical sales process and support the self-serve concept. Drive sales growth and sustained long-term profitability, by establishing and retaining a life-long relationship with existing and new customers.
What You Will Do
Support the co-workers when they cannot resolve customers complaints , dealing positively and quickly with the issues raised by our customers
Ensure SE team maintains balance between Waiting Times and coverage.
Ensure Queue management derived efficient Cashline system
Collaborate with Finance to get the control on discrepancy .
Secure that the store is providing professional service to customers in the Exchange & Returns and track figures through weekly/monthly KPI reports to ensure control.
Check month on month the P&L, comparing the expenses against budgeted & SPLY figures and in conjunction analyse the variances.
Formulate recommendations to the Store Manager, so s/he is able to initiate feasible cost control measures in relation to various store expenses.
Ensure that the cashiers are trained and no item goes through the check out point without being scanned and accounted for.
Ensure that the company is not subject to any fraudulent currency or a loss thereby.
Ensures that the Retail POS System used by the cashiers is operational and has been updated with latest product information
Ensure that all the relevant instruments for the smooth operation of the cash till are available i.e. the rolls for the credit card, belt is working, printer is working, documents for credit notes and other stationeries.
People Management and Development
Motivate the coworkers towards achievement of work objectives by ensuring they understand the company business plan and objectives.
Ensure all the co-workers in the department are trained in Product Knowledge, customer service training, Concept training, H&S trainings.
Support the SE manager in managing the team by providing recommendations during the Probationary period reviews and annually reviews.
Maintain the Staff Management System and generate the schedules using the system.
Monitor attendance of the coworkers and monitor sickness and other absences levels.
Ensure that the coworkers are providing an excellent customer service and acknowledge the customers in line at the till
Required Skills To Be Successful
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Problem solving skills
Good command of English language.
Good command of Arabic language is preferred.
