You will be working as Service Engineer for Robotics & Discrete Automation business, Consumer Segments and Service division based in Dubai, UAE. You will be responsible for executing service work with low to medium complexity according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. Delivering quality customer service to satisfy customers.

Your responsibilities
Contributing to customer satisfaction by planning and executing service work according to customer order and expectation
Understanding of sense of urgency and caring in the direct area of responsibility and ensuring customer retention by delivering superior customer experiences
Performing field service tasks, identifying technical problems, and making analysis through remote or on-site
activity in service categories and coaching associate technicians and associate engineers
Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment is available at the appropriate quality for service activities
Preparing all documents and customer reports to be signed by the customer representative and utilizing all relevant tools
Troubleshooting Equipment/Process failures and requesting proactive corrective actions and making recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future
Planning and executing work on a first-time right approach with customers and ensuring the job is done on time and with quality.
Your background
Bachelors degree in engineering
Minimum 5-10 years of experience of technical experience in Industrial robotic projects, executing maintenance contracts and regular maintenance
Experience with HMI/PLC programming, SCADA
Experience with palletizing, welding & cutting and material handling projects
Capable of traveling on short notice across MENA region and handling rigors of travel & site issues
