The Spa Therapist is responsible for assisting the Director of Spa/Head Therapist in maintaining the highest standards of professionalism in all aspects of operations.
Be responsible for equipment, products, cleanliness and hygiene of the treatment areas.
Ensure aftercare recommendations are made at the end of every treatment, linking with client concerns and offering to prepare products at reception for purchase.
Encourage clients to return to the spa by recommending an ongoing treatment programme and cross selling the other business centres in the spa.
Maintain a sound knowledge of all treatments, packages and any promotions on offer at any given time.
Promote and sell the services of the Spa and maximize the potential of all sales.
Achieve sales targets as set by the Head therapist/Senior therapist.
Assist with promotions/ demonstrations/ events as required.
Must adhere to training as set down by the Director of Spa and Head Therapist.
Maintain the stock at the correct level following set standards.
Use the correct quantities of products as specified by the manufacturer and not exceed that amount.
Attend all training courses as deemed necessary by the Head Therapist.
Keep up the high standard of treatment and service.
Supervise and conduct the safety of users and equipment at the Spa and to receive training to ensure that all relevant legislation pertaining to the Health and Safety at Work Law and Health and Hygiene standards are implemented and monitored within the Spa.
Maintain a high standard of appearance and personal hygiene as laid down by the Director of Spa/Head Therapist.
