Job Description & Summary
Specializing in Sports Operations and Sports Investment, you will lead our efforts in providing strategic advisory services to clients in the sports and entertainment practice. Your expertise in optimizing sports operations, enhancing fan experiences, and facilitating informed investment decisions will be instrumental in shaping the future of sports and entertainment in the region.
Key responsibilities include:
Subject Matter Expertise:
Possess comprehensive knowledge of sports operations, including event management, facility operations, supply chain optimization, and fan engagement strategies.
Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and innovations that impact sports operations and investment decisions.
Sports Investment Strategies:
Advise clients on strategic investment opportunities within the sports industry, conducting thorough due diligence, financial analysis, and risk assessments.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop investment strategies that align with the client’s goals and market trends.
Client Engagement and Business Development:
Cultivate strong relationships with sports organizations, investment firms, and related stakeholders in the Middle East.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Sports and Entertainment Practice, leveraging your network and expertise.
Operational Excellence:
Lead consulting engagements focused on optimizing sports operations, enhancing efficiency, and elevating fan experiences.
Develop strategies for sports events, venue management, and supply chain optimization to drive operational excellence.
Thought Leadership and Innovation:
Contribute to thought leadership initiatives by producing industry reports, whitepapers, and case studies that offer insights into sports operations and investment.
Participate in industry conferences, panels, and events to showcase expertise.
Project Leadership and Team Management
Lead and oversee consulting projects related to sports operations and investment, ensuring successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
Mentor and guide project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Qualifications
A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in management consulting, sports management, or a related field, with a strong focus on sports operations and investment strategies.
Proven track record of successfully leading consulting projects related to sports operations, event management, and strategic sports investments.
Strong network within the sports and entertainment industry in the Middle East / Europe, including relationships with sports organizations, investors, and key decision-makers.
Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to evaluate investment opportunities and operational improvements.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex ideas and insights effectively.
Master’s degree in business administration, finance, sports management, or a related field is preferred from a global top university or business school.
Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing project teams, and contributing to team development.
