The Human Capital Directorate invites applications for the position of Talent Acquisition Coordinator in the Human Capital Directorate. Reporting to the Head, Talent Acquisition, must be a proven leader with the skills and expertise necessary to support the Talent Acquisition department in fully implementing the Universitys mission and vision.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will assist with the development of interview questions and assessment methods, provide support in conducting interviews and ensure the use of appropriate techniques, whilst assisting with facilitation of the hiring of the most suitable candidate and will assist throughout the Talent Acquisition processes in compliance with applicable laws and UDSTs policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will assist with preparing job adverts, advertising job adverts and uploading vacant positions on UDST job portal and external recruitment sites to source qualified candidates, with preference to Qatari nationals.
The successful candidate will provide support in maintaining a pool of qualified candidates for each position that is advertised / posted and for applications that have been received and continually perform candidate searches on various online platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Bayt.com, etc.) and will support with updating UDSTs website.
The successful candidate will assist with preparing interview questions, conditional job offers and acceptance / rejection letters, and engage with candidates in a timely manner. Maintaining data and the preparation of reports and analysis on employee turnover data and demographics across Business Units is a key responsibility of this position.
The successful candidate will provide support in initial / screening interviews with applicants, and liaise with relevant line managers to schedule further / next stage interviews. The successful candidate will obtain approvals and coordinate flights, hotel and all other arrival arrangement for interviews of selected international candidates to UDST, to ensure smooth -arrival into the country and will coordinate with travel agents for arranging flights for all international new hires ensuring the employees arrive to the country as scheduled.
The successful candidate will coordinate with Facilities directorate for arranging accommodations for the new international hires in compliance and will coordinate with Talent management for executing onboarding processes.
The successful candidate will compile all the required recruitment documents in alignment with established checklist, as endorsed by Head, Talent Acquisition and will ensure the completed personal employee files are securely handed over to HC Operations Specialist and will perform miscellaneous job as assigned.
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HC or related field required
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Recruitment or related field
Fluency in written and spoken Arabic language is preferred
Fluency in written and spoken English language is required

Highly motivated individual with strong work ethic, leadership skills and a desire to achieve organizational success. Demonstrates excellent time management, attention to detail, analytical thinking, decision-making and the ability to analyze data. A proactive can-do attitude to work, collaborative working and teamwork is essential. The candidate should have the ability to anticipate change and effectively manage risk at all times. Commitment to positive relationship building and effective working relationships across all levels of the organizations is required. A commitment to service excellence, ongoing training and continuous professional development is desirable. A commitment to be available afterhours when required. Candidates should demonstrate explanatory communication, interpersonal skills and fluency in English and Arabic language is required.
