Overview

As a Technical/Solution Architect, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams on the delivery of architecture and design for digital solutions. You will also work on identifying new technology trends and reviewing strategic demands including strategic architecture, migration strategy, and capability gaps.

Responsibilities

Own delivery of Architecture & design for Information & Intelligence domain
Ensure delivery of strategic architecture, domain architecture and designs
Define and communicate a shared technical and architectural vision (including infra)
Consult with the Enterprise Architecture practice to ensure that the service is aligned with architectural patterns
Provide robust service design as aligned with the design and service requirements
Walkthrough of design solution to build team and business team
Provide service requirement clarity to Technical and Testing Teams to avoid gaps in delivery
Proper analysis and environment provisioning based on the requirements and future analysis
Review Strategic Demands including Strategic architecture, Roadmaps, Transition, Migration Strategy, Capability Gaps for the respective domains
Periodically assess the landscape to ensure strategic alignment, technical debt identification and prioritization
Identify opportunities for cloud adoption & the reduction of technology debt
Review & shape up solution architecture critical decisions with service lines
Develop relevant reusable architecture patterns, accelerators, principles and standards along with Solution Architects & Engineers to enable speedy delivery and efficient operations of service lines
Review root cause of critical incidents and identify opportunities for strategic solutions and solving technical debt
Identify new technology trends for the corresponding chapters through industry research and competition analysis (within & outside region)
Develop relevant position papers & newsletters within the community
Ensure continuous compliance by reviewing architecture exceptions, engineering & operations considerations; enable service teams to identify & resolve new architectural risks
Identify opportunities for enhancing skillsets for self & the architecture community on emerging and relevant technology by on-the-job and off-the-job training
Recognize potential impact on existing policies and standards and update accordingly, develop new policies and standards for future business expansion
Data architecture for various business & technology Initiatives
Set objective and key results along with strategy teams and service owners
Review solution architecture decisions alignment to OKRs
Co-create & shape strategy with Technology & Business Heads
Requirement finalization in terms of design and integration interfaces
Gap analysis between the service requirements and the existing capabilities in the landscape
Preparation of candidate solutions adopting best practices like TOGAF, SOA, IFW, IASA
Ensure 100% compliance to organizational and industry standards/principles in solution design
Maintain high degree of relationship and professional rapport with stakeholders across IT and the business
Deliver high quality specs and ensure 100% completeness of solution
Perform effective design reviews to ensure that no gaps are created in design
Design sustainable, scalable, and high performing solutions and data models

Requirements

You are:

Equipped with 12+ years of experience working on solution/technical designing and architecture on service or product (preferably in the banking industry)
Able to proactively address issues discovered in the software components, infrastructure and scripts in the various environments
